FORGOT SOME CARNARVON DETAILS

Oops apologies to some of you Carnarvonites, forgot to thank a few of you.

Thanks to the Lyall's and others who donated the 20 odd kilo's of bananas, last seen hidden in the Schatz transporter, they probably used them to stay awake on the drive home, send us some bananas you banana stealing mongrels (yes you Schatzy and Mick).

Thanks to Burke Holla and Steven Lyall for organising the meeting and the other nameless officials who made the meeting a great success.

Thanks to me for letting Mick Doble win the "Most feature winner for 2009/2010" trophy (all I did was get tired and limp wristed and slow down because I was knackered).

In the pits at the interval I spied a very talented driver looking over the Crabbe mobile, "Flyan Ryan Farrel" was seen looking in disbelief and asking "Why does a limited have so much titanium" I had to reply because he sold one to Shane Webster that had more in it, Ryan was very complimentary on the rebuilt car saying "it was a very nice car", just needed a driver with the same suitable credentials.
I asked Ryan to get his race gear and substitute me for the feature but he replied he was having to much fun watching and enjoying the odd ale or two, the lucky bastard.
Had to tell Ryan that I was going to be on the hill in Darwin and I expected big things from him at the title, now Janette and I have to make our "Flyan Ryan Farrel" banner to take with us, hopefully the people going with us who are not as Ryan orientated as us will still sit with us (you know who you are).

Again fellow limited drivers, get your budgets set for Carnarvon next year, here is my list of unmissable events for next year, in my order of preference.

1) Sprintcar Muster
2) State title
3) Armstrong cup
4) Carnarvon
5) Old boys

The above with the Geraldton meets, 4 and 5 being 2 nights each equals 7 meetings, they are unmissable, if you can only run these meetings all year you will have a fabulous season, each race meeting from 3 down ooze atmosphere and are great for the after race bonding/drinking as well.
1 and 2 whilst normally much higher on the pre race and during race stress levels are just great racing and cannot be missed.

For those not in the know it looks like the State Title will be held at Bunbury in 2011, Martin is negotiating the details but I for one would like it to be a 2 day meeting the same as this year, run with the Krikke Boys, or a similar high profile event, bring it on.
Adam Harvey will be banned from racing as he holds it flat around the Bunbury Bull ring these days, due to the Limited is way down on his 410 in the power stakes.

Well enough for tonight, I need to catch up on some sleep and then get ready for the new exercise program Janette has put in place so I can actually run 73 laps in one night.

Catch you

Crabby (unfit limited driver)
