Collie Saturday Apil 12th

Well people all of the drivers who attended the invitation meeting at Collie Speedway enjoyed themselves, this was a non club champion points night a great opportunity to get lap s in ready for the State Title

We lost the Chisholm brothers as they were burning stubble on their farm and  had not  finished and the father  son team Steven and Shane Kendall who had shift changes with their FIFO jobs and Kelvin Lawrence had mechanical issues with his transporter so 5 scratched we still ended up with 9 cars for the night. Brayden Miller had his brand new car to test which didn't disappoint, Jacob Lucas was testing his car after fuel pressure problems.
Weather was perfect track was awesome.

All drivers had three heats and a 15 lap feature

First Heat we saw brothers Todd and Gavin Davis of the front row and on lap 4 Gavin Davis spun while running in second spot bring the race to a yellow and unfortunately  Gavin spun again after gaining three positions and Annette Crabbe and Paul Miller spun to avoid Gavin the race was declared making Todd Davis first and second to Shannon Binns and third was Darryl Borgas then Annette Crabbe and Paul Miller,
David Toovey and Brayden Miller DNF.

Heat 1 Winner Todd Davis

Second heat saw Annette Crabbe and Darryl Borgas off the front  Gavin Davis spun again on the third lap this is unheard of Gavin doing this only two races and three spins but Shannon Binns drove an excellent race and  won this race with Brayden Miller second and Todd Davis third followed by Paul Miller, Annette Crabbe Gavin Davis and Daryl Borgas David Toovey DNF
Heat 2 Winner Shannon Binns

Heat three saw  Todd Davis and Shannon Binns off the front this race went right through without any stoppages making Todd Davis first and second being Brayden Miller and third was Shannon Binns making it a great race to watch
Heat 3 Winner Todd Davis

Feature saw the two highest points off the front being Todd Davis and Shannon Binns the race run its full length without any stoppages and Todd Davis lead from the beginning to the end of race Gavin Davis fought hard to gain ground on Todd but to no avail making him second and Brayden Miller third followed by Shannon Binns Paul Miller Jacob Lucas Annette Crabbe and Daryl Borgas
