Perth Motorplex Saturday November 21st

Round 2, Perth Motorplex Nov 21st

Well we have now run round 2 of the Limited Sprintcar Assn. Club Championship at the Motorplex on 21 Nov 15. It was a very successful night with 16 cars having had 2 heats and a final of 15 laps.

Heat 1 we saw Jason Craig and Ben Migro of the front at the start, Jason took the lead up to a stoppage where two cars spun and become stationary bringing on a yellow. At the restart Jason managed to stay in front of Ben until they both caught up to pass a slower car, and in passing moves, Ben managed to take the lead to the end with Jason close behind, Gavin Davis came in third coming from the rear of the grid.

Heat 2 saw Steve Crabbe and Marshall McDiarmid off the front. Marshall managed to take the lead from the outside, closely followed by Steve for quite a few laps until Steve pulled to the infield with engine problems.  It was Marshalls race to the end with Brendan Condren second and Ben Migro third coming from the rear.

The last heat saw Anthony Dye and Gavin Davis off the front at the start, with Gavin taking control of the race to the end, with Anthony Dye second and Allan Chapman third.

The feature was a race worth watching, it went the whole 15 laps without any stoppages. Anthony Dye and Gavin Davis were off the front and Gavin took control of this race from the start to finish making it Gavin Davis first, Anthony Dye second and Allan Chapman third.

For round three at Kalgoorlie on 12 Dec, we have 14 drivers nominating for this event with some great money on offer from Kalgoorlie Speedway. It has been quite a few years since we have raced there and I will be there going by train so keep following us.
