Well the limited State Title
for 2015 has been run and won, we had 29 cars nominate but had a few last moment
cancelations for the event it started off to be run over 6 heats and a B main
and a final of 20 laps and it changed at the last minute
to 4 heats top 6 dash and a final of 20 laps it was a very long day Machine examining
and engine pumping and the weigh in started at 11am which I am pleased all cars passed now to
the following
The first heat saw Greg Clark
and Tahni Doble off the front this race had to have a restart as all cars going into
turn one 4 cars got tangled up and it was unfortunate that Kevin Grant and
Tahni Doble and Ben Migro did not restart the race, on the restart saw Greg Clark and
Gavin Davis off the front Gavin got the jump and lead up to lap 3 then it was
taken over by Brayden Miller with him winning from Gavin Davis and Darrin
Francis third coming out of position 7
Heat 1 Winner Brayden Miller |
2nd Gavin Davis |
3rd Darrin Francis |
Second heat saw Anthony Gaudio and Peter McNamara off the front, Anthony got the better of peter at the
start and took the lead closely followed by Mick Doble Anthony lead up to lap 6
then Mick Doble took over to lead up to
the finish with Anthony Gaudio second and Matthew Peaker third.
Heat 2 Winner Mick Doble |
3rd Matt Peaker |
Next heat saw Kevin Grant and
Tony Pricilio off the front at the start Todd Davis took the lead into turn
one and on the first lap closely followed by Mick Doble On lap 5 saw Mick take
the lead for one lap then Todd took over the lead to the end of race with Gavin
Davis second and Paul Belfield third
Winner Todd Davis |
2nd Gavin Davis |
3rd Paul Belfield |
The dash saw the two brothers
of Gavin Davis and Todd Davis off the front and Todd beat Gavin into turn one
and remained there to the end with Gavin closely following second and Paul
Fedlier third
Dash Winner Todd Davis |
2nd Gavin Davis |
3rd Paul Fielder |
The feature race was a great
race there where we saw both brother's of the front Todd Davis and Gavin Davis Todd
took the lead right away but on the third lap he spun and had to go to the rear
leaving Gavin to take the lead then with about 5 laps to go young Brayden
Miller took the lead till the finish the results being Brayden Miller First
Brad Cox second and Gavin Davis third.
Brayden Miller being our youngest driver ever to win a state title and now back to back we all congratulate you Brayden.
