World Series Sprintcar round 11 held at Bunbury Speedway Saturday Febrary 15th

 

Well what a great night at Bunbury Speedway Saturday Feb 15th for the  World Series Sprintcar round 11, we were 1 of the supporting  division's and congratulations to all drivers you drove to track conditions with good clean racing.

The night had different winners on all of the races over the night

The first heat started with Chris Dicker off the front row with Chris taking the lead all the way to the end with Tony Pracilio second followed by Benny Migro in third.

 The race was marred by Ben Chisholm who hit the fence coming out of turn 2 and rolling badly damaging his car that put him out for the night. We look forward to seeing back with us this weekend Ben.

Second heat saw Mick Doble and Robbie Stephens off the front with Mick taking the lead and nothing was going to stop him from winning this heat followed by Robbie Stephens with Todd Davis coming in third.

The third heat saw Michael White and Jacob Lucas off the front and Jacob took the lead to the end of the  race followed by Gavin Davis and third Michael White

Last heat of the night saw Benny Migro off the front with Merv Woolford and like all heats Merv took the win over Benny Migro and coming up third was Todd Davis.

 Now for the feature saw Merv Woolford and Robbie Stevens off the front but it was not one of the front runners to take it out the feature race was run over 20 laps with only two stoppages of cars spinning and bringing out the caution light lots of passing inside and some great outside passes Todd Davis in his usual smooth form  and with a perfectly handling car took out the feature race followed by Mick Doble.

As it was a club points night the highest points which is points over all races was\ awarded to Todd Davis 113 points followed by one of our rookies Benny Migro 110 points with Mick Doble 109. Well done to all drivers.

 The next night s racing for the Limited Sprintcars is At Bunbury on Sunday night  March 2nd  again as  a supporting division for the Krikkie Boys Race

For the competitors who are attending the Krikkie Boys night at Bunbury 2 Mar 14

Gates open at 1.30 PM

All competitors in the pits before 3.30 PM

Drivers meeting    4.15 PM

On track at 5.00 PM

 At this moment we have 21 competitors attending Krikkie Boys night

 The race programme is most likely be the same as World Series

 

 Well members the above story was prepared for the West Australian news paper for the motor sports page but did not make it, it has been resubmitted and may be in this Wednesdays West.

We planned to have it on the Limited Sprintcar Web page on the Internet as soon as we have the code for the blog

  All of the stories we put out after race meeting only goes to Club members and we need to get information to the public that go the Internet so we intend to keep them informed on the LSA blog site in future.

 We have been invited to race at The Motorplex on the Friday 14th March first night of the Formula 500 Championship and you are all invited to run at Bunbury Speedway Club night Sat 15 Mar so it is up to you Fri night at Motorplex and Sat night Bunbury can you please let Debbie or martin know if you  intend to race on any or both of these nights there will be presentations on both nights.
